So, I just got home, right? But I'm leaving this afternoon to go to Charlotte and visit tawneykat again! Because, you know, I have new tires now...

In the meantime, thanks to keanuweb, here's a stunning new poster for A Scanner Darkly, introduced at Comic-Con in San Diego. They also reported that the current release date looks like March 2006. This could be optimistic. Things seem to be taking longer than they should...



I wonder if they will have posters featuring the other characters? Apparently at the con they showed the clip of the "bicycle scene" which is one of the druggy humor bits from the book that I'm glad they included. Always nice to laugh before you know you're going to weep... *sniff*

tworivers asked if my LJ client supports tags. Well, it didn't, but it does as of now as I have just downloaded a new one. Unfortunately it is a Mac client. I looked at downloading a PC client on my Dad's computer, but to be honest I didn't understand much of what was on the PC client page at LJ and was happy with the "entries" page ...

OK, must shower, dress, and pack. Visiting my credit union before work to hopefully arrange for a home equity loan...
